Virgin Experience Days - Microlight Lessons
Fly like a bird as you soar through the skies at over 1,000 feet with Microlight Lessons from Virgin Experience Days. Your instructor will give you a briefing on the ground, then once in the air when you're comfortable, will hand the controls over!
The Microlight Lesson will give you the opportunity to experience the peace of the skies during your thrilling trip. Your flight may be in an open or closed cockpit Microlight.
Included in Virgin Experience Days Microlight Lessons
- Safety briefing and familiarisation with controls
- Training from an experienced instructor
- Allow approx 1 hour for your visit, which will include up to 30 minutes flying time with the opportunity to take the controls

What happens on the day
Your Microlight Lessons Virgin Experience Day will start with an introduction to the controls and a run-though of the microlight flight. Then it's time to take-off where you lesson will begin under the guidance of a professional instructor.

Microlight Lessons:
- Minimum Age: 12 (Participants under 18 years old need parental/guardian consent)
- Minimum Height: N/A s
- Maximum Height: 6'4" (193cms) S
- Maximum Weight: 16 stone (around 100kgs)
- Fitness/medical: You should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the aircraft.
- Weather Dependent: Yes. We advise you to call the school on the day of your booking, to check if the weather is suitable for flying.
- The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to venue.
